The life of our Pentecostal church in New York continues beyond the service. We share the Word, support families, and put our faith into action.

01

Children, youth, and families

There is a place to grow together. Iglesia del Niño, Misioneritas, and Royal Rangers are among our children’s ministries. We also have ministries for youth, women, and men.

02

Supporting our community

Through Bodega de Dorcas, we share food and essential items. Serving is a way to support our community and express Christ’s love through our actions.

Catholics are Christians. Catholics and Pentecostals both believe in Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church draws on Scripture and Sacred Tradition and celebrates seven sacraments. At our Pentecostal church, the Bible guides our faith, we practice baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, and we emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit. If you come from a Catholic background, you’re welcome to visit us.

The name comes from Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus’ followers, as described in Acts 2. We believe the Holy Spirit still gives people gifts and empowers them to follow Jesus and serve others.

In John 3, Jesus describes a new birth. We understand this as the new life God gives us through the Holy Spirit when we turn to God and put our faith in Jesus Christ.
